We’re thrilled to share the latest data from the WineGB Industry Survey, highlighting the remarkable growth of the English and Welsh wine industry in 2023. Notably, vineyard numbers have surpassed 1,000 for the first time, increasing by 87 to reach 1,030. The full results can be found here. WineGB also held its eighth annual WineGB Awards recently, where Kent emerged victorious with a total of 71 medals, broken down to 9 gold, 26 silver, 36 bronze. Followed by East Sussex with 47. This highlights the exceptional standard and expertise of Kent vineyards and the outstanding quality of their wines.
