The big question in the vineyards right now.. when will harvest begin? 🍇🍂 It’s an exciting yet nerve-wracking time as winemakers keep a close eye on the weather.. heavy rain just before picking is the last thing they want as it can dilute the flavours and affect the quality of the grapes. While the exact harvest dates are hard to predict (Mother Nature always has the final say!), ripening grapes give vital clues that help decide the perfect moment to harvest. Harvest is one of the most fascinating times to visit a vineyard. Ever wondered how grapes make their journey from vine to bottle, or how vineyards know when to pick?

We’re thrilled to now be working with @domaineevremond. A stunning new Kent vineyard born from friendship, heritage and a love for sparkling wine. Set in the beautiful chalky hills of Chilham, Kent, their vineyard is planted with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier.. the classic trio behind Champagne and it’s already producing something really special.🥂 Founded by Champagne Taittinger and Hatch Mansfield in 2015, Domaine Evremond is the first Champagne house to invest in English soil and even better Kentish soil! A bold move driven by friendship and a shared vision for the future of sparkling wine. With a sustainably designed, underground winery that blends right into the landscape, guests can enjoy
