In-house Wine Tastings
Our in-house wine tastings are the perfect opportunity for you to learn about how a bottle of English wine is produced in a relaxed and informative way. Taste an array of award-winning wines all from the comfort of your chosen venue, expertly led by one of our team.
The wine tasting packages include a qualified wine guide to host your event, glasses and tasting note sheets.
With each event designed around your group, we can add options such as food pairing suggestions, Spot the Champagne and fun wine quizzes. A brilliant dinner party activity or way to entertain friends, colleagues and clients, we can also recommend suitable venues from the partners we work with around Kent.
Our in-house wine tasting packages offer great value for money and allow you to taste a range of Kent wines from the comfort of your home, holiday let or workplace.
We offer two formats for in house tastings:
1.Wine tasting – 1 sparkling and 3 still wines
Let your expert host show you the ropes of wine tasting, guiding you and your guests on tasting each wine in turn. Learn about grape varieties, wine making techniques and the people behind the labels. A brilliant dinner party activity!
Approx duration: 75 – 90 minutes
2. Spot the Champagne – 2 sparkling and 2 still wines
Put yourself and your guests to the challenge of identifying which is the English Sparkling Wine and which is the Champagne before tasting two Kent still wines also. A fun and interactive way of learning why there are similarities and differences between Kent and the famous Champagne region!
Approx duration: 90 – 120 minutes
Wine is selected from vineyards we visit on our Wine Tours of Kent that include but not limited to – Balfour Winery, Barnsole, Biddenden Vineyard, Brabourne, Chapel Down, Chartham, Gusbourne, Herbert Hall, Simpsons, Wayfarer Wines, Westwell, Woolton Farm, Woodchurch Wine and Yotes Court.
